  Bad nose on opening which fortunately blew off pretty quickly. Moderately dark red color. Some sediment. Simple stewed fruit red and dark flavor. Moderate length but very linear - no evolution of flavors. Calling this a Gran Reserva is totally inappropriate. A mediocre wine at best. I was planning to cook with it and will, but it is not as good as I had hoped for.
