Cork disintegrated upon opening. Deep, virtually opaque garnet red color. Simple nose of leather, tar, and vague fruit. Pretty dry and monolithic on the palate - one guest called it 'insipid' - with little fruit and no complexity to speak of and tannins fully resolved. Not a bad drink but certainly not exciting. Perhaps I should have drunk this earlier. Purchased on release and stored in my cellar since.

Dark fruit, with some leather and spicy notes. Finish was a little short.

Dry, brittle cork. Drinkable but not up to standard with previous bottles.

Tons of fruit. Slight leather and tobacco overtones with a nice finish. Great wine with a steak on NYE
