Opened on Halloween with sushi dinner. Can’t believe it’s been two years since my last bottle. I didn’t love this. Flavors were a bit modern and fruity. Almost like the sous bois reduced in its obviousness. Maybe the next one will be nicer?

Very enjoyable with a nose that evolved over the first two hours in decanter. It felt like it was still a bit wound up. Perhaps a few more years would do it good?

Interesting reddish-brown clearing to almost pink on the rim. Showing some in the color in my option. Nose is a little closed, strawberry / cranberry, sous bois for sure. Much more earth on the nose. Red fruit on the palette, not quite earthy, but mineral and acidity is very present. Tannins are a little rough compared to the Morey St Denis premier cru from Lignier. Overall it's a good wine and very representative of the terrior.

Little rough. The premier cru Lingier Morey St. Denis is well worth the price compared to this. Quite good regular drinking nonetheless.
