My first white Aglianico del Vulture, it is made with Aglianico vinified off the skins, Malvasia, Moscato and Chardonnay. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity, and complex, with aromas of sweet stone fruit, tropical fruit, white flowers, sweet spices and a little smoke. Interestingly, this wine does not see any oak, so the aromas are all from the fruit and terroir. The palate is dry and - although fruit driven - is much less sweet than the nose. Medium (+) acidity, medium alcohol and medium (+) minerality result in a fresh, crisp and lifted finish. Drink now, not intended for aging, although it certainly has the structure and freshness to show well for a couple of years.

Drinks like a Chardonnay. Richer. Not super fruit forward.
