Nose with leather, stable, pepper, cheese and something a bit vapid over it. Maybe it has started to decay and losing it vigor? French signature on the (good parts) of its nose. On the palate it shows drying and dying, but somehow still sweet darkish fruits, touch of pepper, acetone, fine grinded tannins and some hints of fat alcohol oil on the finish. Not a complex or very good wine, something that reflects in my points. Perhaps this was a bad bottle, or maybe this is as good as it is at this stage in its life? Felt like it was over the top.
