  {bought on release, #5 of 6, opened for 40 minutes before pouring; shared with MK, BS, JL over light dinner} This is really a gateway drug for Burgundy... it's so attractive you just want another sip. Lovely ripe liquerish and dark red fruits in the nose, just shy of being over-ripe and still in balance, rich mid- and end-palate, good flair to the finish. Flat out delicious if not the world's most complicated wine. Tonight's bottle had lush fruit and the minerals noted in prior bottles less forward. In 2021 said I would hold my last 2 botles for another 5 years but couldn't keep my hands off bottle #5.

  {Bought on release, #4 of 6} Sneaky wine, starts out with delicious forepalate, some crunchy red fruits, and then over time really fills out and lengthens. May have shut down a bit since the last time I had the wine. I'll have to hide my last 2 bottles as they are quite tasty and should be given another 5 years! Punches "above its weight."

  {Bought on release, perfect fill, PopNPour} Rich for Burgundy, singing midpalate and excellent length, red-dark fruits. Lots of minerality and expanded wonderfully over the 3 hours it was open. Great wine. Tastes like it is in the very front end of its drinking window; wait and let it develop more complexity. Could be 93-94 in future. Surprised by how good it is now and future promise.
