Very tight to begin with, showing but a whiff of smoky mineral reduction. It unfurled in the glass to offer white peach, green melon and citrus fruits and some aniseed spice. It was explosive, yet contained and was cut by a rigid line of minerally acidity. It is a wine of supreme elegance, balance and detail and it has remarkable persistence.

M&PD Tasting: California Cabernet (Seattle, WA, USA): Spearmint. More vinous and weighty than the Dancer which is not so good at first. It seems a little heavy. However time and air served this extraordinarily well as it opened up to reveal the nuttiness I expect from Meursault. Actually this was just utterly quintessential Meursault, nutty, salty, mouthwatering with an almost puckering finish and hints of lime zest dancing on your tongue. Outstanding.

Really great mineral streak. I think this could use more age but one of the best white burgs I've had.

M&PD at JVNK. 2015 Roulot and Dancer Les Perrières.
Roulot: H2, evolving to G3. Darker color. Bold weight. Really hit new gear after 2 hours. Started to get petrol bottom.
Dancer: Crisp, mineral, sage and mint. T4

Starting really reductive and reluctant but after a few minutes very elegant and precise. Flitstone and a hint of roasted aromas. 95-96
