Medium dark ruby. Bright yet mature nose of sour cherry, toasted oak and earth. Very pretty, elegant, mouthfeel and long finish of gravelly tart dark fruit. Well done and it still has life left for another 5 years or so.

(Wolffer Estate Merlot Estate Selection) Nose exhibits ripe but understated raspberry, cherry, cranberry and cedar aromas. Medium bodied, the palate shows nice complexity with red berry, cinnamon, black pepper, mineral and cocoa flavors — all with ripe, gently gripping tannins and understated acidity.
