Dark red, no fading. Deep aromas of roasted rare meat and black cherries. Smooth and full on the palate, blackberries, roast meat, anise. Fine tannins, bright acidity, excellent balance. Finishes bright and long with cherries and spice. Bright, intense and lovely wine. Drink next 3 to 4 years. 53% Syrah; 36% Grenache; 11% Mourvèdre.

Smoking! Iron rich terrior like beef tartare in a glass…Bloody! Fantastic wine with beautiful texture could go until 2025-26 before it peaks. Need to find some Magnums

Fantastic syrah dominated GSM. Deep black fruit and lots of spice on the finish (which we love). Drinking great now with no decant but should be fine for 3-5 more years. Reminds me a little of L'Aventure at way less the cost.

Beautiful dark red color. Intense cherry nose. Lush, dark fruit on the palate, blackberries, cherries. With some time in the glass, the Grenache becomes more prominent with red fruits. Earthy, meaty notes develop. Smooth tannns, nice acidity and balance. This has power but isn't an in-your-face wine. Finishes long and sweet. Reflects its Paso Robles origin. 53% Syrah; 36% Grenache; 11% Mourvedre. 15.2% ABV. No hurry, but I'd drink these over the next 2 years.

Slightly disappointed with this one... I remember this being amazing in the tasting room... tonight it was a little jumbled and hot (alc was showing too much). Had some sharp edges and bright red fruits... but the booziness was too present and distracting.
