Letting this bottle breathe allowed for the rich, tangy stone fruit and buttery taste to develop. Will be in the hunt for more of this vineyard’s offerings.

Wondeful Chardonnary for the price. Notes of apricots, stewed yellow fruits, vanilla, little oak with a short but elegant finish. Nice acidity. This was a good vintage. Drinking well now but can keep for 3-4 years happily. Probably my favorite Chardonay from Sonoma at this price range

Retail $38. Lemon curd, oak, butter, and marzipan. On the palate, though, the oak and butter, though present, are both subdued. The tropical fruit (lemon and a touch of pineapple) is front and center on the palate, with mineralogy and an inviting mid palate. The finish is lengthy and ever-so tasty. Excellent. Excellent. 90-92 Points.
@ Dutton-Goldfield Winery. This is as good as I remember it. A little lower score just due to the amount of Chard's I have been tasting recently. This is a blend of 6-7 sites. Blend was done beautifully, for this price this is probably one of the best California Chard's you will find on the market. Peaches, vanilla and oak are standing out for me on this, with a smooth and short finish. Not a lot of acidity however not overly oaky/buttery either.

Very refined, great mid-palate and concentrated. A bit too much bright for my tastes.
