Opened at the POB Paulee in Hong Kong. Chilled, then P&P.
Another great Aligoté on our table, and this was probably my favourite over the Leroy and the Ponsot. Fantastic balance, and I just remember thinking 'this is really quite good'.

Clearly cold climate wine with bright acidity with citrus, grapefruit, white flower and mineral notes. Medium finish. I'd definitely mistake it for Sauvignon Blanc in blind. Very very enjoyable.

Random #1: 12.5%. Tasted Blind. Wow, highly expressive nose of complex citrus fruits, lots of salinity, white flowers etc and very deep. Very pure and elegant on the palate with excellent intensity and persistency. It has a slight bitterness (citrus skin) that leads me to the Aligoté. I really like the textural richness and the class here though not the price.

Pale lemon. Pronounced. Blossom, honey, apple, crisp pear, lemon with a minty touch. Complex with mineral profile and creamy, toasted/vanilla frame. Stunning. Precision, purity, elegance and finesse are the best descriptors of Ente style.

Almost more Meursault than aligote. Good, but it's a bit forgettable in a lineup of other wines.
