Decero and Errazuriz winery visit; 1/26/2017-2/5/2017 (Argentina and Chile): Kai='plant' in Mapuche language. 2005 was the first vintage of Kai. 22 months, 100% new French oak w/ 5% Syrah. deep opaque color with a touch of purple to the red fruit aromas. soft palate, elevated spice, concentration and med/- tannin. oak doesn't show through particularly. also a roast meat note to the palate.
