Just can’t get this one to a 90. Served with Good Friday salmon/trout supper. Excellent pairing with the fish. Served in a vertical with the Richards 2014. Slightly more leafy compared to the 2014. Had a bit more pucker level too in comparison. Nice wine. Maybe a year of laying down would make a difference. Juicy and light bodied and we all still thought great salmon pairing.
With roast pork shoulder and rice casserole. Was quite nice. Med body. Not earthy. Decanted and served about 15C. Red berries. Maybe a bit of green leaf as well. Pretty solid Pinot
