  • Lovely, easy drinking rose. Not too sweet, light salmon colour. Great for an early summer barbecue ;)

On July 20, 1955, 22 years before Cotes de Provence wines got their Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, fourteen Provençal wine estates managed to officially designate themselves Crus Classés based on an evaluation of the estates' history, winemaking and cellar reputation and overall vineyard quality, including Château du Galoupet in La Londe-les-Maures.

  • very salmon like colour; very nice. nose: serious; rhubarb, hawthorn fruit; forrestfruit tea; pleasant. taste: low acidity, robust structure; dry; lacks fruit; long finish with metallic aftertaste.

  • Decent enough common-or-garden provencale rose. It has a touch more heft and sweetness on the palate that I usually care for with a slightly confected finish. Decent enough though - but I prefer them leaner and fresher than this.
