  Nez de fruits rouges et noirs éclatants et énergiques, très aromatique, épices un peu aussi. La bouche est tout aussi explosive de fruits, puissant, profond, superbe vin très bon maintenant mais qui a besoin encore de quelques années. 94-95
  
  Lots of explosive red and dark fruit on the nose and on the palate, some spices too,power, texture and finesse, excellent now but needs a few years still, gorgeous. 94-95

  Slightly extracted, violets, Dujac spice and precise ripeness. Will be very good with age. 93-94

  So to go with the delicious chicken dish we were having tonight, I went down and brought up a 2015 Vosne Romanee Villages. It was amazing. So much better than it should have been.
  
  Then I looked at the label. It wasn’t the Villages, it was the Dujac 2015 Malconsorts I bought to cellar for a much longer time. Now maybe it would be better in 20 years, and maybe it will still close down, but it was amazing tonight. Completely open for business. Complicated and beautiful. Red, black and purple fruit with a backbone of leather and ripe tannin and a streak of salinity. A complete pleasure (if something of a surprise).
  
  Maybe I should be opening my wines younger.
