Drunk at a 'judgement of Paris' dinner with all wines served blind. Was up against an Aubert 2016 and a Morey-Coffinet Batard 2002 and a Jacques Prieur Montrachet 02. Came a close second to the Montrachet. Clearly californian but not the monster you might thing you are getting - really well integrated oak and juicy acid but with a depth and richness.

A fine Chardonnay, but a bit too rich and straightforward for my liking. Pineapple and burnt caramel dominate for me. A little more acid would have added complexity. Poor QPR.

First bad Kistler. Tasted like a premox burgundy!
