Nose: Warm oak, bread, dusty cherries, some mint.
Palate: Soft full entry with lots of berries, mid-palate has present but rather subdued tannins, with some oak. Aftertaste every so slightly stemmy.

Intense color. Still tight in the nose even after being opened for 24 hrs. Quite impressive but not for drinking now. Hold.
(12/11/2021) I may be going a little overboard with this rating, but this wine struck me in just the right place. Well made and will improve with time. An unlikely blend of Merlot (95%) and Petit Verdot (5%). http://www.chateau-ducluzeau.com

Dark fruits, cassis, ripe and bright. some dark herbal, liquorice and a little earth hint from mid-palate to ending. round and smooth texture, supple tannins, medium body with a concentrated fruity core, sweet, even a little jammy. typical Merlot based Bordeaux flavours, an easy drinking opening but complete with some complexity.
