BV92 - €35 (on sale) - From the majestic 2016 vintage. A very underrated producer with excellent value. - Unmistakably Bordeaux with beautiful core of perfectly ripe black fruit, licorice, warm bread and sous bois. Framed by molten tannins and fresh acidity. The wine is well made and very balanced. Drink now - 2036

Lovely classic Bordeaux from Graves. Decanted an hour before drinking and witnessed a nice evolution from a moderately tannic tobacco, mint, menthol into a medium lush berry/smoked cherry flavour (possibly influenced at the end by the Partagas #4 that accompanied the final glass over a two hour period). Nice wine.

Deep purple with a ruby rim On the nose, fall leaves, oak, and a dirt basement with hints of dark fruit Flavors of tobacco, some prune and a bit of a twang that I can't describe now
Nice heavy acidity, and medium tannins. The funky twang smooths out after decanting, leaving lime, blackberries, and currant.
I would say this is a solid Bordeaux, not the best, but if it's available, it's worth a try

Cannot add much to what the others have recently written. Just a lovely Left Bank Bordeaux that is definitely a good drinking window.

Too early to drink. Better on day 2 and even still very good on the 3th day.
