  • Pale garnet.

Medium plus intensity on the nose with Black cherry, raspberry, strawberry, red cherry, violet, vanilla, cloves, chocolate, forest floor, earth and mushroom.

Medium plus intensity and dry on the palate with some smoke and dried cherry coming through. High acidity, medium minus partly resolved tannins, medium body, medium alcohol, medium plus finish.

  • Really nice and open for drinking. Lacks the concentration and depth of 1er or Grand Crus, of course, but for the price it’s a great table wine for any night. lovely bouquet of raspberries, light in color, and light enough to have on a hot summer day.

  • Pop and pour, probably should have decanted.
Purchased yesterday from Domaine, nice to compare to 2017, which we opened yesterday. Just lovely aromatics with some cola, sweet wild strawberry, earthy notes...On the palate, great acidity with lovely red fruit, more cola, some leather and earth, and a finely grained tannic finish. Definitely needs time and air, but everything is there already.
