The Other France (Fugaise in Minneapolis): Ruby red color. The nose gives red oak in a rustic/clumsy style. There is good fruit on the palate but it is a little over sweet. I suspect this wine probably sees a significant oak treatment. The finish is very tannic and plenty long. This wine clearly needs some bottle age to better integrate the elements, but I wouldn't expect this to improve considerably. If the price is as low as listed in CellarTracker this could be a great QPR.

Old and fantastic still. Great acidity and still has a bit of tannin. Wish I had a few more!

Tasting Group Dinner - The Other France (Fugaise, Minneapolis): Slightly sweet, medium body, cherry fruit. Lots of garrigue. Quite tannic, but really improved with air. Needs more time. Nice.

Too soft and inoffensive to be anything better than good, and yet good QPR despite this.
