Dark ruby color. Nose of dark cherries, band aid, some earth. Palate of dark cherry, some earth, spice with good acidity and velvety tannins. Very nice wine.

Ruby color with no fading. Nose of berries and spice. Palate of red/black cherries (slightly stewed), spice, some heat. Velvety mouthfeel. I agree has some New World characteristics but more interesting. Very enjoyable wine.

Strong colour, no fading. Wood and berries on nose. Red berry flavours and warmth on palate. Touch of sweet oak on the finish, but well integrated. Medium bodied with lowish acidity, almost new world-like in style but not as sweet. Very good, drinking well right now. The Domaine did a decent job in this unusual vintage.

Ruby color. Nose of red/black cherries, earth, spice. Similar on the palate. Good balance and depth. Well made, simple red Burg.
