Pale gold. Medium+ intensity. Pear, melon, apple skin, lemon, lime, honeysuckle, violets, almonds, hazelnut. Med+ acidity. Oily but pleasant med+ finish. Very good wine with further aging potential. Tertiary notes should develop further.

The acidity is high. The alcohol is low. The body is medium. The flavour intensity medium (+). The finish is medium (+). The flavours are lemon, lime, honey, grapefruit. The wine is very good. Drink now, but suitable for suitable further aging.

A wine that is drinking wonderfully at 11 years of age. The colour showing some development though typical for a wine of its age. Lifted almond bread, beeswax and white toast on the nose. The wine has a fuller palate befitting the vintage, with key lime pie an honey flavours backed by superb zesty acidity. The magic of Hunter Valley Semillon on display with texture, fruit weight and great length from a wine that sees no oak. BWOOD

WSET 3 - session 7 (Utrecht): Medium lemon in color, medium+ intensity on the nose with aroma’s of flint, bee wax, citrus, green apple, smoke, lemon marmelade. The wine is dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, medium- body, medium flavor intensity and medium finish.
More structure than fruit driven, but a great wine. Not very often that a wine has primary and tertairy notes, but no secondary. Great

Dillon Beach trip day 3. This wine is off the charts. Classic example of Hunter Semillon. Medium straw with a hint of green hue. The nose is magnificent. Massive lift. Toast lemon and lemongrass. Waxy. Mineral and whetstone. Extremely fresh. Flint lock. Not a hint of development. Palate is rich with great fruit sweetness and a magnificent acid backbone. Long even and fine. Zesty. The palate is lightly riper and more generous than many Hunter Semillons. Great wine.
