  This was a surprise. My first Bonarda tasting and I WILL be coming back for more. This grape has a really unique and particular wine profile. Used in Argentina sometimes as a complement of full-bodied wines like cabernet sauvignons to provide that extra something, it is also a whole new experience by itself.
  
  With a medium to deep purple color and a medium to medium-high viscosity, this little wine grenade will explode in your mouth and will fill it with almost chewy tannins that will nearly disappear in seconds, and will tingle your tongue as its acidity rest on it and persist up to its virtually -bitter 5" aftertaste.
  
  A smell of a strong medium-high Intensity level with sweet fruity aromas of blackberries and Figs, blended with a hint of red pepper flakes and the tartness of some raspberries and pomegranate dance along with the coolness effect of menthol and rest placidly onto some earthy graphite/cedary notes.
  
  You might think, because of the big amount of legs and their speed that the wine is whether sweet or has a high alcohol content. Well, not the case. Dry to the bone and with a standard 13.5% of alcohol, this wine will not stop surprising you. Especially when you find out its price. Give me a case!
