Quite nice and showing some classy mature chardonnay notes. No rush, but this is in the pocket for my preferences, and I'll drink my last bottle soonish.

Opened by a friend. 2nd time I have had this 2006 Champagne. Even better than the first time I had it 9 years ago. 100% Chardonnay from the Grand Cru villages of Chouilly (44%), Cramant (24%) and Oger (5%) and the 1er Cru villages of Cuis (21%) and Vertus (6%). Disgorged October 2021. Light yellow color. Might have expected something darker based on it's age. A creamy texture with peach, chalk, citrus and apple notes. Persistent bead. Showing very well at 17 years old. 93 points.

Very tasty, in a great spot right now. Lacks a little pizzazz but otherwise shows good grip and length. Pretty classic profile with some brioche and lemon, but towards the fresher end of the spectrum.

A little drier than I remember it. Wonder if this is a little past peak. Still very good.

Opened with notes of green apple, citrus peel, floral notes, and a little bit of lemon tart. Nice length to the finish. Bubbles were holding up well.
