  • This was a well aged Bordeaux. The cork was nearly 9/10 sopped, but no cork tast disturbed the generell view of the wine. The color was light red-brown with a thinner rim. After 2 hours in the decanter things come together. Nice nother of dark cherries, some blackcurrant and old leather filled nose and mouth. Medium bodied. But the best part of the wine was the finish: Smooth, balanced, warm and long. I had a great mouthfeel after every sip. Glad to taste one like this. Maybe 8-10 years to late, but still a pleasure to drink. 84-86 pts.
