Drank this one with a Moroccan tagine. Started the bottle before sitting down to dinner and this one was a bit too harsh and bitter for me to enjoy, tried with some che3se to see if a bit of fat in the mouth helped. It did not. Finally alongside a spicy lamb plate, this felt like it had a match. Certainly have learned a lesson about Nebbiolo! ~ Red fruit, cherry on nose and palate. Red flowers. Light on oak spices and heavy on fruit tannin. Dry and without food it’s in the direction of acrid. Med+ acid

Sweeter, more modern and less detailed than the Fenocchio version tasted recently. Some tannin but still a nice restaurant wine.

Tight, with notes of eucalyptus and spearmint. Revealed a bit of fruit after 2 hours: blackberry, floral undertone. Would benefit from cellaring.
