Découvertes en Vallée du Rhône; 4/15/2019-4/16/2019 (Ampuis, Mauves and Tain-l'Hermitage): Walk around tasting talking with the producers, brief note. Combine what I liked best from Le Méal and La Pavillon just tasted, and this would be close. Floral start with black cherry, plum, plum liqueur, Garam Masala spice with black pepper. Excellent concentration with very good length and near silky tannins. So elegant already now, but I will really be excited to drink this in the early 2030s and beyond.
