Still a little disjointed. Good fruit and other bits but hasn't knit and harmonized...also, a bit overpriced for what you get. May age well enough though. Lotsa Washington syrah that betters this for less $$$

Completely disjointed. There's no fruit left and the nose is dominated by must, vegetables, vermuth and fennel. Palate is unbelievably bitter. Oak dosn't seem integrated. Not enjoyable at this stage. Don't think this will get any better.

A little bit raw syrah. Full bodied, complete and a mouth full of wine. A lot of cherries and good acidity and tannin. A little lacking in refinement though. Waiting for 2+ years will not hurt and might be rewarding.

Starting my Syrah season (6 different labels). A bottle calmed by the time? Not sure with this inky, dark purple colour. Caramel, black tea, violets, mushrooms, bronze...on nose. Alcohol is present all the way. Still a prominent structure. A tannic, sturdy and tasty wine.

Decanted for 1 hour. Black cherries, oak, tobacco and mushroom on nose. Ripe fruits, chocolates, spices and a lot of graphite on palate. Opened up during the evening. Decant for at least 2 hours. Great wine for this price.
