Old school beaujo from Kermit. Pale purple. CM Fruitiness, earthy, peppery with crisp acidity and a little grip on the finish. Everything is tightly wound and in perfect balance. Perfect with a thin crust pizza margherita.

Bright see through ruby plum; fresh Gamay nose but not exuberantly sweet fruit or bubble gum, more of a mulled plum, floral, earthy, tanned leather mix that is on the more subtle side at first but opens with more air; very light and easy on the palate, a touch of tannin with fresh acid, similar notes as the nose, spicy clove and raspberry mix on the finish; seriously well done for level.

First 2016. Of course it doesn't have the power or pure fruit of the 2015 Cru Beaujolais that I have been drinking but still has some fruit, earth and surprisingly a little tannin, along with a tiny green note. Nice! Very Good.
