Wine Tasting Group - Natural Wines - Oct 14, 2018 (Katie Aspen's Home): Bobal grape from Manchuela, Castilla La Mancha, Spain. Starts with herbs on the nose followed by tart cherries and bark. Rich blackberries on the palate with cherries, strawberries, herbs and earth. Finish is moderately long that echoes the palate. Nice depth with good acids on a medium bodied frame. Very good.

Sweet raspberries and early picked blackberry. A little rusticity brought by stem inclusion juxtaposes the fruit with an herbal backdrop of woody sage and lavender My first taste of Bobol. It could be a cousin to young Grenache. So much value in these fresh, pure, Spanish reds - fruit driven but structured and meant to be drunk right away.

Soft, floral aromas of strawberry, cherry, leather and black pepper. Light to medium bodied on the palate with plenty of fine mouth drying tannin, bright acid, a soft middle and a gentile finish. With out food this is quite dry but with, glou glou. Well made, distinctive and delicious. Nice with a pork yakisoba. Good for 2 to 3 years.
