Color of very very pale light red. Scents of maybe strawberries and rose petals. Tastes consistent with scents and medium acidity. Kind of one note, though.

A somewhat leaking cork may have diminished what this could have offered at its peak, but it was still a very full wine, drinking more like a lighter red. Aromatics were muted. Very good but not exceptional. Though it's half the cost of the grand vin, frankly both are overpriced for what they offer.

Nose: Strawberry, Watermelon, basil, lemon mint and a bit of manure/barnyard. Grew fresher as it opened. Palate: Very nice palate feel with a bit of richness to the red/pink berry fruit and some mouth watering acidity. Finish: Very nice strawberry, herb and saline notes with a touch of lemon.
Second time having the rose from Simone (quite hard to find), and it is great once again.

Opened and this was very musty and almost a touch offputting. Waited on it though throughout most of the afternoon and with some time that blew off a bit. It's more secondary in nature. Dried petals mostly. Still a touch of savory. I think I like my roses a bit younger, but can tell it's a well made wine.

Drank as part of a 3 wine rose flight @ Amali in NYC. This was the only 2014 of the bunch - rest were 2015s. My second favorite (to the Soter). This was a bit heavier bodied than the other two. Darker color. Some evolution had happened - not just that bright fresh flavor that one gets (and that I seem to prefer in my rose). Interesting.
