Initial aroma showed a little sherry-like oxidation, but that was just one nuance of this extremely complex wine. Citrus peel, honey, almonds; rich, oily mouthfeel, with plenty of acidity to keep it lively and nice bit of soft sweetness to lend youth and freshness. Floral, melon, and nutty, this wine delivers a powerful punch. Fascinating juice that should hold for quite some time, but lots of pleasure in it right now though.

From 375. Deep amber color. The nose is straight summertime. Peach and apricots- in season. Medium bodied. What a fascinating bottle of wine. I haven't tasted much Viognier with residual sugar, but it is a mind bender. Tuscan melon, honey, pear and apricot with the edginess of Viognier lurking about. Medium to long finish.
Many other CT tasters have found this over the hill, I found this much more interesting and enjoyable once it warmed a bit and got some air. I'm counting myself lucky to have had a good bottle.

en demi-bouteille - sharp alcoholic nose, with acetone, honey, and apricot notes. Later on kinda metallic like La France pear.

Could be mistaken for a wine 20 years older given deep amber hue. Palate thins out.
