We drank this as the second bottle after consuming a 2010 Chateau Pegau CdP Reservee. It is not in the same league with that wine in terms of potential greatness, but it went quite well as a table wine version to drink around the table after finishing the Reservee. It was fruitier, more robust, and really very tasty. It was even better the second night. I know some here don't particularly like this wine, but it was fully worth the $18 I paid for it.

Belle évolution en seulement 1 an. Un peu de poivre blanc, des petits fruits rouges et noirs, rien de très complexe mais délicieux avec saucissons. Bon QPR.

The best of 7 wines from a terrible auction lot. You win some, you lose some. This wine would be a fine every day drinker, very pleasant and went well with food.
