13% Alc., PnP, from Riedel Sommelier Grand Burgundy.
Color: fresh yellow color, no bubbles.
Nose: Deep reduction, lot's of acidity and freshness, underneath warm barrique notes and shades of green. This Composition gives a lot of joy to smell.
Palate: The primary taste impression is very strong acidity and behind it the strong reduction. As an opposing factor the undoubtedly sufficient natural sugar content catches some (not all) of this very strong acid and improves balance and drinking experience. The use of Barrique has the same effect. Nevertheless even after five years of bottling the wine is underdeveloped and very much one-sided. Strong acidity and reduction are the main characteristics.
Keep in mind, that there was a change in management and style at the winery just in 2014.

Reductive nose with roasted sesame and waxed lemon. Unbelievably refine acidity with wet pebbles on the palate. Can’t believe one can make a Chardonnay like this in Germany

Univinum wine fair (@EDEKA Ueltzhöfer, Heilbronn, Germany): Glass: Red Wine *** brief notes for my own memory from tasting sip. No rating *** Fine, muted and herbaceous nose. Elegant, cool and balanced. Nice length. Certainly a great German Chardonnay. Tasted individually it is certainly around 91-93. After tasting the Chardonnays from Remi Jobard it tastes quite sweet, clumsy and oaky… 90+
