Crisp Sancerre. Not as round as Labaille-Thomas style, much leaner and sharper, with higher acidity and shorter finish. 100% stainless steel fermented. Matched perfectly well with sauteed sole fillets.

Loire tasting Sydney 2019 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Mineral; quite struck flint, with a citrus backing - lemon - and a touch of honeysuckle. Bone dry, a little sour, very slight burr on the mid palate. Little else for me. Meh.
