Screw cap. Decanted just prior to service. Oatmeal, fleshy peach, curry leaf, green bean. Complex. Medium to full weight. Balancing act of full flavoured fruit, savoury elements, saline and integrated oak. Delicious tonight. Drink or hold.

I am a convert. Sitting in a perfect spot between the 2 Australian extremes of too flabby and too flinty, this hits the spot. Packed with intense peach and lemon notes, this could give some of the prestigious French Burgundys a run for their money.

Screw cap. Mid-gold. Oatmeal, green lime, lemon. Medium to full weighted, with seamlessly integrated oak. A touch of lime rind bitterness, but plenty of that typical buttery richness.

Screw cap. 13.5% alc. Struck match, which soon dissipates. Oak, lemon, mineral. As the wine warms in the glass, the flavours are much more integrated. The oak becomes more supportive. It’s youthful, but hints at the complexities to come as it unfurls over the years. The following day, it looked harmonious. Notes of oatmeal, pine, green bean, lemon. Very long finish.
