Tasted blind. Med/- gold, med intensity of developing aromas, dark yeast, tree fruit, oak, butter, petrol, kernel. Palate is dry, med/+ acid, med/+ alc, med/+ body, med/+ intensity, clove, mineral, tree fruit, spice, on a long finish. Full on and old world, feels relatively youthful, 2-3 years (actually 7). Mineral and that long finish.

Ripe stone fruit start with some perfumed hints. Same apricot on palate with fairly good mineral backbone. Acids seem quite a bit softer than when tasted a few years back. This should continue to drink well for another 2 or 3 years.

Gorgeous sweet hazelnut and mildly bitter almond notes dominate. A bit of peach and lemon on the nose make this irresistible. This batch won't last much longer though - I'll drink the remaining five bottles in 2011.

Textbook Meursault, good length ( 7 ) , full body and correct acidity. Well structured and has potential to age some years. Not that complex but great in its simplicity. Good effort.
