PNP. Full yellow color. Deep stone fruit nose, some spice with a hint of reduction, but very fresh and alive. Clenched fruit on the palate, medium plus acid with a chalky drying texture and finish. Lacking a bit of depth and complexity, but otherwise very nice and healthy at 10 years old.

Dinner at MingHin (Chicago, IL): Solid stuff (not literally). Textbook Boillot with a hint of reduction and plenty of oak (that's mercifully not astringent). Very rich in texture with plenty of good fruit and a breadth on the palate. Lovely acidity to boot; not too complex on the palate, but an amply delicious bottle of Meursault.

Very young, energetic and still a bit lean. Nice matchstick notes add interest to the pure, bright orchard fruits. Good, but should be even better in 2-5 years as the palate adds some weight.
