  Winespecials Wine Evening (Restaurant Waldhorn, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Gabriel Standard
  Popped and poured. Clear, pale golden yellow color. Clean nose, a bit freaky/funky, some vegetables, white pepper.
  On the palate medium acidity, quite lean, cool, vegetable notes, round, medium length. Still young. 86-88

  Iris, honeysuckle, acacia blossom smell. Cool, fresh and light in the mouth, high acid, slightly salty finish some peach and apple. Just lovely.

  Lemon juice acidity, minerally, refreshing, went fine with Comte and black truffle brie.

  Green apple and lime and jasmine. Lots of pepper to smell and a touch of sweet melon. Light body and lots of acid and citrus tastes in the mouth. Refreshing mineral finish. Very good, archetypal Kamptal Grüner Veltliner.
