  • Hadn’t tasted this grape before & decided to try an authentic Austrian version.
Slightly darker than pale lemon in colour with somewhat restrained aromas of citrus, wet gravel & blossoms/honey.
On the palate, light bodied citrus, zesty lemon/lime, blossoms/honey, a yeasty/biscuit note, electrifying high acidity with a long finish to chalky minerality, a hint of white pepper & green apple in the aftertaste.
This is balanced, tangy, refreshing wine & definitely on the repurchase list!
