Nose: Purple fruits like currants integrated with some vanilla, a very subtle spice, some oak and some sweet tobacco.
Palate: Almost slightly sweet purple fruits and integrated vanilla (best way I can describe it), deep earth, same sweet tobacco and a slight spice. Almost matches the nose completely.
Deep Ruby with a tinge of purple. Dry but a very slight and subtle sweetness to it. Low, soft and smooth tannins. Medium-minus body with medium to medium-plus acidity. Good finish of about 5-6 seconds with a lingering spice, slight oak and a little bit of minerality. Smooth, lots of fruit interlaced with vanilla and deep earth. Lacking a little bit of structure but has just enough to keep it interesting. I feel like this is the main taste profile for a lot of Paso Robles wines.. I wish I could tell if it were due to where it's grown or how it was made. Smooth and enjoyable.

For such price is a superb wine. Still may improve in next year or two.

Good QPR for $11. On the jammy side without being sweet. Decent backbone but not much complexity. Would go well with BBQ and spicy foods.

Ripe cherries, pomegranate, blackcurrant. Oaky with firm tannins. Very dry finish.
