From magnum (see pic)... again shows as herbaceous and peppery accented by an interesting hint of barnyard on the nose. Grippy black cherry and cranberry dominate with a nice touch of underlying sweet oak and vanilla. Still a somewhat drying finish. The love/hate relationship with this wine comes to an end.

This bottling was super austere upon opening and never hit its stride over three days. Drying tannins, minimal fruit, and an astringent, short finish. Hopefully this bottle is just a one-off as I typically enjoy Big Table Farms wines.

Super astringent dark cherry, herbaceous and drying. Consistent with previous bottles, yet even more extreme since last tasted. Seems like stemminess and whole-cluster fermentation has bitten this wine in the butt. Don't even think of drinking this without food. At least for tonight, a disappointing wine from a bulletproof producer.

This was lovely. Feminine, light without lacking. Strawberry, raspberry with perfect length. This is in a great window right now.

Another Big Table Pinot that was horribly corked.
