  • Verhaltene Nase. Kühles Gras, etwas Pfeffer. Geschmacklich kommt dann überraschend viel Pfirsisch und Frucht in einem leichten, cremigen Umhang. Abgang Veltliner typisch etwas rough herbal würzig. Sehr süffig. Toll an heißen Sommerabenden für Fraktion: trocken.

  • Medium golden color. Nose of white pepper, slightly green, herbal notes and some pear. More spicy and savory than fruity for sure. Similar flavors on the palate with medium acid and a bit more richness and body than expected. Unique wine that definitely improved a bit as the night went on.

  • Nose: The nose is tight at first, but it begins to unfold into herbs, pears, saline, crushed rocks, white florals, white peaches, and peppery notes.

Taste: The feel is Full bodied with crisp, high acidity. There is excellent density to the feel with peppery notes, pears, saline, white peaches, and some apples.

Overall: This is a delicious, young, Gruner Veltliner. It has excellent poise with well integrated acidity that provides a spine to the structure. I would love to see where this goes with 3-5 years on it, but it’s extremely good right now.

  • Off the wine list at Gordon Ramsay. Amazing how much this wine changes depending upon with food or without. Without food it's not wildly different than water with some acidity, but nothing that really jumps out. With the right food though, it suddenly seems to center in and then there's green apple and a bit of mineral and just turns into a totally different wine. Would not drink on it's own, but great with food.
