Flying Goat Cellars Tasting (Vandewater, NYC): At a tasting - from an open bottle. Straw color. Citrus and yeast notes on the nose. The palate yields lemon, peach, good acidity, and is noticeably yeasty. It has a small bubble, delicate mousse.

Last of two bottles. still very enjoyable. Creamy texture, small bubbles, with some oak. Subtle white peach flavors. This style is one of my favorite goat bubble offerings ... and it happens to be one of their cheaper ones. At over $40, it’s still a splurge though.

This was very tasty. Has an excellent creamy velvety texture. Small bubbles. Ripe pears. On the drier site. Really enjoyed this.
