No contemporaneous notes. PnP. My 3rd bottle and the best. Served at a charity barbecue at my home. Love this style of wine, albeit not a blockbuster. Better than the 2019 Erath but not as concentrated or rich (but I prefer this earthy style) as the 2016 St. Innocent Shea Vineyard also served. Consumed quickly.

No contemporaneous notes. Decanted and served immediately, following the 2016 Domaine Serene Yamhill. This was much lighter in both color and content, but is a well made very good to excellent OR Pinot and was enjoyed.

13% abv. Beautiful expressive nose. Unfortunately, the palate just didn't measure up, as it seemed closed. Never really opened up throughout the evening, though I made sure to let a glass sit for a couple of hours. Just tight and mostly shut down. It seems there is enough there to warrant letting this sit a few more years, but not particularly enjoyable at this moment in time.

Definitely showed much better with a bit of air. PNP before dinner was just fine, with a good bit of fruit and earth but otherwise pretty straightforward. Came back a couple of hours later and it showed better finesse and complexity. Finished the bottle the next day and it continued to show fairly well. Pretty good QPR and will look forward to having again.
