Light garnet in glass – no browning. Slightly reduced upon opening (– like a Restoration Hardware cologne!), but after hour decant floral aromatics blossomed with hints of crushed raspberries & garrigue. My cork was almost ¼ stained already. Sourced @ Vintage wines on Bainbridge Island during better times.
Restrained on the palate with medium weight, featuring oak-kissed black & red fruits. Soft & congenial in the mouth with cranberry & vanilla cream notes. Modest tannins & juicy acidity. Classic WV Pinot that is good for the price.
If you are looking for a simple, unpretentious wine with a short, dry finish - this will do nicely. I would not mind if 2021 followed suit… 😉

Pale ruby. Nose of cherry, licorice, black pepper, chocolate. Great structure. Strong acid backed up with a strong but well rounded tannin. Long finish. Taste of subtle red fruit, cassis and good minerality.

Decent QPR. Medium light which went well with 5he food but others expected more punch.
