  Fabulous wine at this price point. One of the best Sicilian wines I have tried.

  Nez : intensité aromatique normale, un petit peu contenu. Nez élégant, fin, et aérien grâce à une belle minéralité dégagée, principalement sur les fruits rouges légèrement aigres (cerise rouge, grenade, petits fruits rouges), des notes animales – cuir frais, un côté « cloudy », minéraux volcaniques, légères nuances de sous-bois, d’herbes séchées, touche florale en fond (type rose séchée). Un nez qui commence tout doucement à évoluer sur de très légères notes secondaires.
  
  Bouche : l’entrée est fruitée, franche et juteuse sur la cerise rouge et de la rose séchée.
  De corps normal, le milieu de bouche offre un jus net, transparent et linéaire – pas d’une grande structure, à savoir on n’a pas ce côté multi-strates – mais pas dénué de dynamisme, assuré par cette minéralité rocailleuse bien présente.
  La palette aromatique se distingue du nez par une non présence de notes animales et de sous-bois, mais on retrouve de la cerise rouge, de la grenade, framboise, une touche florale (rose séchée), un côté poussiéreux, et des herbes séchées.
  Belle trame élégante, profondeur normale mais un peu plus importante que ce que le nez pouvait présager, puis des tanins plus accrocheurs en seconde partie de bouche qui demandent probablement un peu plus de temps pour se détendre.
  Finale fluide, transparente, acidulée se prolongeant sur des doux amers provenant de notes précises de cerise rouge légèrement aigre, des herbes séchées, léger côté thé noir, très légère touche rose séchée. Longueur normale (+).

  Really fantastic, excellent from PnP and over a couple of hours. Further evolved from my TN ~3 years ago. KENPLACE brief Aug. 2020 TN summarizes it nicely. Sappy and deep and pure with a rustic edge and that volcanic minerality.
  
  Very nice pairing with grilled lamb sirloin (cross hatch score thin fat side; S&P, garlic, rosemary, thyme, mint, urfa biber, olive oil - sous vide 132 F ~2 hours, grill a few minutes per side), serve along duck fat-roasted russet potato cubes.

  Dry, burnt earth, mineral, layered.
  Light vegetal & mineral nose, with sprinkle of flowers. Apparent volcanic minerals. Soft & calm palate.
  Light to medium bodied wine.
  A good long cleansing dry finish :)
