So has all five Bordeaux varieties. 1992 planted. Has a violet-y pretty nose. 1/3 new oak, 24 months in oak. And edgy on the palate here, which I think makes it very interesting compared to the Pinots' edginess.

76 cab with the other usual suspects. 24 mo French, 1/3 new. Sonoma Mt and Moon Mt. Nice pyrazine off the bat. call it bordeaux style and it is. Combination of black and red fruit, chalkiness on nose, and green tea leaf of all things. Palate has great acid and is delicious. Love the restraint on palate, 13.8% abv.

Balanced, very smooth for a young Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tobacco and acacia on the nose. Bright blue fruit on the palate with youthful tannins, medium acid and a touch of citrus. Very enjoyable
