bottle number two. unfortunately, the verdict is harsh; this bottle was over he top - there is too much of manzanilla/amontillado type bitter acidity and this intellectually interesting quality does however dominate all other palatial senses. but there is fruit and structure and some honey-almond- vanilla character on the mid palate.

honey and apples - a rich amber colour which betrayed kinship to the muscat family of sweet wine, at the same time as the palate showed as much structure and perfumed discipline as a gewurztraminer from Alsace. Amazing!
