- Very zesty nose, lime, grass, elderberry, slate notes, but fruitier than the Mosel wines. Very fresh and complex nose. - Great on the palate too, pure freshness and crispness, even if the acidity is not as high as most Mosel wines. Good length. - 93 points

The best wines of the night! Completely dry and tight style with fantastic aromatic and fruity bouquet! The Kirschpiel is true grand cru! The dessert wines was absolutely restraint and elegant!

Tasted next to the 2008. Slightly off-dry, round, generous, not very precise. Good acidity and length. 89-90+
